About Dr. Cuellar
Dr. Cuellar earned her doctoral degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a clinical and research specialization in helping children and families. She completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Medical College of Georgia/Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center where she provided therapy services across several medical and outpatient settings. As a postdoctoral fellow at the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System, Dr. Cuellar continued her specialization in providing treatment to couples, families, and parents.
Currently in her practice, Dr. Cuellar works with couples, families and adults, focused on effectively managing distress and improving relationships. In addition to her practice, Dr. Cuellar serves as Co-Director of the Family Therapy Training Program at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, supervising psychology practicum, intern, and postdoctoral trainees. As a Bay Area native, she values and centers diversity, actively leading with a multiculturally sensitive, liberation-based approach to treatment.
